Empowering Future Lifesavers
BLS & ACLS Training at Matibabu School of Health Sciences, Siaya County
From 20th to 25th October 2025, the Prime Care Trainers (PCT) team conducted a comprehensive week-long BLS and ACLS training for nursing students at the Matibabu School of Health Sciences in Siaya County — an initiative proudly supported by the Matibabu Foundation.
The blended learning program featured four days of interactive online lectures followed by a full day of practical, case-based simulations, totaling 20 contact hours of intensive learning and skills application. Participants were guided through high-quality CPR techniques, airway management, cardiac rhythm recognition, and advanced emergency care algorithms — all designed to enhance clinical decision-making and teamwork during real emergencies.
This collaboration underscores our ongoing commitment at Prime Care Trainers to develop #EverydayHeroes, uphold #ClinicalExcellence, and strengthen Kenya’s emergency care capacity by empowering the next generation of healthcare professionals who are ready and capable of #SavingLives — anywhere, anytime.
We extend our heartfelt appreciation to the Matibabu Foundation and the faculty of Matibabu School of Health Sciences for their partnership and dedication to improving healthcare training outcomes in Siaya County.
