The Family & Friends CPR Course
The Family & Friends CPR Course teaches the initial lifesaving skills that are necessary to assist an individual who is experiencing a cardiopumonary arrest before expert medical help arrive on the scene.
Skills are taught in a dynamic group environment using the AHA’s research-proven practice-while-watching technique, which provides students with the most hands-on CPR practice time possible.
Who can take this Course?
- This course is intended for everyone, with or without any medical background.
What you expect to learn:
- Recognition of Cardiac Emergencies
- Steps to activate an Emergency Response System
- Providing highly effective chest compressions
- Assisting in difficult breathing (optional)
- Correct use of an AED Machine
- CPR in Chidren and Infants
- CPR in special circumstances e.g. to an expectant lady
- Assisting someone who is chocking
