Improving Out-of-Hospital Cardiac Arrest (OHCA) outcomes
Excellent webinar by the Global Resuscitation Alliance (GRA) to mark the #WorldRestartAHeartDay titled “Cardiac Arrest: 50% Increase in Survival is Possible”
This was a unique opportunity to be updated, connect with experts, and make a positive impact on cardiac arrest patient outcomes.
Case studies and progress reports from Asia, Australia, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea, Denmark, Paris, Germany, Sweden & Spain were presented.
There is a lot that is being done globally aiming to reduce the mortality associated with cardiac arrest incidences that we can borrow and implement in our setups.
It was interesting to learn that patients with OHCA-VF stand a better chance of survival through the implementation of the Frame of Survival, which emphasizes attention to a little more detail on the six links on the chain of survival that we are currently implementing.
Great work by the GRA
