The Trauma & Emergency Nursing Chapter (TENC) of National Nurses Association of Kenya (NNA-K) was launched on the 13th of October 2023 at Radison Blue Hotel as part of the celebrations to mark the Emergency Nurses Week 2023.

Prime Care Trainers (PCT) was one of the sponsor partners for the launch event.

The TENC mission is to unite dedicated nurses and foster a community of professionals who are committed and compassionate to serve during time of crisis e.g., medical emergencies, trauma emergencies, major incidents and mass casualty events.

The Key objectives for TENC include:

  – Naturing professional excellence

  – Co-ordinating a collaborative response

  – Policy and Advocacy

  – Networking and Support
