Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Course
The PALS Course uses a series of videos and simulated pediatric emergency cases to reinforce the important concepts of a systematic approach while assessing critically ill infants & children; initiating the recommended PALS management protocols; conduct effective resuscitation where indicated and practice high performance team dynamics.
The goal of the PALS Course is to improve the quality of care provided to seriously ill or injured children, preventing further deterioration of the condition hence resulting in improved outcomes.

- Science update and the Pediatric Chain of Survival
- Review of infant and child BLS
- Resuscitation Team Dynamics
- Standard approach to the critically ill and/or injured infant and child
- Early management of respiratory distress and respiratory failure
- Managing compensated vs. decompensated shock
- Managing stable vs. unstable pediatric patients with arrhythmias
- Pediatric Cardiopulmonary Arrest & Resuscitation
- Post Cardiac Arrest Care (PCAC) and care towards recovery
