TENSCON 2025

Celebrating the Role of the Emergency Nurse

From the corridors of emergency departments to national conferences, one message continues to echo — nurses are the heartbeat of emergency care.

This year, Prime Care Trainers (PCT) was honored to take part in the 2nd Trauma & Emergency Nursing Scientific Conference (TENSCON 2025), held at the scenic Sun N’ Sand Beach Resort, Mtwapa.
The event brought together hundreds of emergency nurses, educators, and healthcare leaders from across the country under the theme:

“Our Nurses. Our Future: Caring for Nurses Strengthens Economies.”

🎙️ A Keynote Moment of Reflection and Celebration

Our CEO, Steve Khamisi, was invited as a keynote speaker, delivering an inspiring address titled “Celebrating the Role of the Emergency Nurse.”
His message highlighted the courage, skill, and compassion that define emergency nurses — those who remain calm, composed, and decisive in the most critical moments.

“In every crisis, there is one steady presence that turns chaos into care — the Emergency Nurse,” he reminded the audience.

The keynote not only celebrated the profession but also called for greater investment in nurses’ well-being, leadership, and professional development within our healthcare systems.

💡 Empowering Through Practical Learning

In addition to the keynote, Prime Care Trainers facilitated a hands-on ECG Interpretation and ACLS workshop, providing delegates with essential lifesaving skills to strengthen emergency response capacity in their workplaces.
Through these sessions, participants gained confidence in managing cardiac emergencies — a reflection of PCT’s ongoing commitment to delivering practical, high-impact emergency care education.

❤️ Community Impact Through #FirstAidMtaani

PCT also showcased its signature community outreach initiative — #FirstAidMtaani, our monthly CSR program that offers free basic first aid training to schools, churches, children’s homes, and community groups.
The initiative empowers ordinary citizens to recognize and respond to medical emergencies, making our communities safer and more resilient.

At TENSCON, we were excited to share stories of impact from this program and encourage healthcare professionals to engage in similar outreach efforts within their regions.

🌟 Looking Ahead

As we reflect on our time at TENSCON 2025, we celebrate the resilience and dedication of every emergency nurse — the calm in the chaos and the steady heartbeat of care.
Prime Care Trainers remains steadfast in our mission to equip, inspire, and empower healthcare providers through quality training and community education.

Together, we can continue to strengthen emergency care — one nurse, one workshop, and one community at a time. 💙
