At Prime Care Trainers, we hold a simple but powerful belief — lifesaving knowledge belongs to everyone.

On 27th September, that belief came alive as the PCT Champions, together with Healthcare PEEPS, stepped into the community with one mission: to empower ordinary people with the skills and confidence to save lives.

The session, held in collaboration with Community Pope John XXIII, focused on CPR training and emergency preparedness — essential skills that often mean the difference between life and death.

Why We Do This

When cardiac arrest strikes, every second counts. It can happen anywhere — in a classroom, at home, on the roadside, or even during a Sunday gathering. Too many lives are lost not because help isn’t nearby, but because those who witness it don’t know what to do.

That’s where the Friends-of-PCT Network steps in — a growing movement dedicated to bridging that gap by equipping communities with practical, hands-on training that transforms bystanders into lifesavers.

A Day of Learning and Action

The outreach brought together a diverse group of participants — teachers, caregivers, young students, and community volunteers — all eager to learn.

Through engaging demonstrations and guided practice, they mastered:

  • Hands-Only CPR, the simple technique that keeps blood flowing until medical help arrives.

  • Basic First Aid, covering how to respond quickly and safely to everyday injuries and medical emergencies.

  • And most importantly, the confidence to act — breaking through fear and uncertainty to step forward when it matters most.

The atmosphere was electric — filled with curiosity, laughter, teamwork, and determination. Participants practiced on manikins, cheered one another on, and left knowing that they now carried the power to save a life.

More Than a Training — A Movement

What happened that day was more than just a training session. It was a spark — part of a larger effort to build prepared, compassionate communities across Kenya.

When people are equipped and confident, emergencies stop being moments of panic and become opportunities for action. And when communities are empowered, survival rates rise, and hope spreads.

Our Gratitude

We extend our heartfelt thanks to Healthcare PEEPS, Community Pope John XXIII, and every participant who joined hands with us. Your enthusiasm and openness to learn keep this vision alive.

Together, we’re not just teaching skills — we’re building a culture of preparedness, compassion, and courage.

Because at the heart of the Friends-of-PCT Network is a simple truth:

We learn together. We prepare together. And together, we save lives.
