First Aid Club Activation - #FirstAidMtaani

In keeping with the parable of “The Good Samaritan” & “The Ten Leppers“, and while also launching the EMS Week 2024 celebrations, the PCT Faculty through an invite by the ACK St. Joseph of Arimathea on Saturday, 18th May, 2024 facilitated a First Aid and CPR Training to a select group of ministries representatives drawn from the church choir, Sunday school teachers, clergy, media team, security, ushers, praise & worship, Ebenezar Ministry for the elderly, youth ministry amongst several others.
The sensitization of the public in First Aid skills is a key link in the chain of survival which aims to:
- Preserve life
- Prevent further injury
- Promote recovery
Approximate 40 volunteers participated in this First Aid Club Activation and benefited from the interaction with the PCT Instructors.
Follow-up via WhatsApp communication platform and online webinar sessions will be scheduled to continue supporting this team and ensure compliance to the set standard.
Looking forward to partner with other organized groups e.g. schools, churches, youth groups and CBOs that they too many benefit from this CSR program.
