This past March 2024, as we celebrated the International Women’s Day [#IWD2024] that was themed #InspireInclusion the faculty trainers at Prime Care Trainers (PCT) got a rare opportunity to visit the girl students at Daraja Academy and impart the useful skills of First Aid.

Daraja Academy provides a safe place for girls who would not have access to a high school education any other way.

It is a beacon of hope, safety and future promise for marginalized girls to grow their innate leadership skills.

Daraja Academy runs a W.I.S.H. program i.e. Women of Integrity, Strength, and Hope which is a 4-year leadership and empowerment program for the girls.

It is the “heart of Daraja” and the backbone of character development for girls to grow and ignite positive change as they become the grassroots leaders of tomorrow.

The PCT Faculty remains more than ready to initiate and support First Aid clubs among our schools, churches (places of worship), and any other organized groups.
