Meducate Corp is a student led outreach program that seeks to enhance healthcare and wellness among global residents through targeted educational campaigns, community workshops, and informational resources. 

The organization is championed by high school students who aspire to pursue a career in the medical / healthcare field in future.

As a way to ready them, Prime Care Trainers in Dec 2024, pattered with the Meducate Corp – Kenyan Branch to conduct a Heartsaver First Aid Training through the #FirstAidMtaani Outreach Program.

The participants were exposed to simulated medical emergency scenarios, that guided the discussions and skills practice for the day’s program. This included:

• Universal precautions to prevent self-contamination and for control of infections 
• Universal procedure for identifying medical emergencies
• High quality CPR practice
• Pediatric CPR practice
• Relief of chocking to an infant 
• Bandage application for bleeding control
• Splinting of fractures
• Use of Ventolin inhaler in asthma attack
• Use of adrenaline auto injector in severe allergies
