Basic Trauma Care Skills - #FirstAidMtaani

The PCT Champions, were once again, invited to Kabiru Kawariru Community Based Organization; seeking to empower the CBO members by sharing knowledge and skills via the #FirstAidMtaaaani program.
The vision is to mentor this team to be confident in applying the accepted principles of Basic Trauma Care aimed at preserving life, peventing further harm and promoting recovery following an incident.
The following objectives were met on this day:
- Managing severe life threatening bleeding
- Maintaining Inline Cervical Spine Immobilization
- Rapid Extrication
- Immobilizing Fractures
The #FirstAidMtaani Activation program is a PCT Champions CSR Initiative to strengthen the Chain of Survival framework through offering free first aid training to organized and registered groups at least once every month.
