Empowering Emergency Medicine: Prime Care Trainers & Global FICCS Lead ECG Training at TAEMC 2025
At the 4th Arusha Emergency Medicine Conference (TAEMC 2025), held in the heart of Tanzania, Prime Care Trainers (PCT) proudly partnered with Global FICCS (Federation of International Care and Clinical Simulation) to deliver a powerful and practical session on 12-lead ECG interpretation—a cornerstone skill in emergency cardiac care.
Together, PCT and Global FICCS created a dynamic training environment that blended expert instruction, clinical simulation, and real-world application. The collaborative workshop was designed to equip healthcare professionals—from junior clinicians to seasoned emergency personnel—with the knowledge and skills to confidently interpret ECGs in fast-paced, high-stakes environments.
The training drew in a diverse group of participants from across East Africa and beyond. With hands-on guidance, participants learned to recognize critical ECG patterns, identify life-threatening arrhythmias, and integrate their interpretations into swift clinical decision-making.
Working side by side, PCT and Global FICCS emphasized interactive learning. Case-based discussions, live demonstrations, and one-on-one mentorship made this session a standout at the conference.
One participant shared, “This session transformed the way I look at ECGs. It made something that once felt intimidating completely manageable.”
This collaboration not only showcased the power of global partnerships in advancing emergency care but also reaffirmed PCT’s commitment to building regional clinical capacity through expert-led, evidence-based training.
We’re honored to have played a leading role in TAEMC 2025 and to have joined hands with Global FICCS in delivering education that has a direct impact on patient outcomes.
